Suggestions about what to bring

Packing for Camp

Please read the enclosed list. Try not to overload your child with too much gear. They will have to carry it.

Be sure your child has enough bedding. Even in the hottest weather, the cabins may become cool in the evening. Please note that all cabins are air-conditioned.

If you send sheets and blankets (instead of a sleeping bag), please be aware that most of the mattresses are 30" X 78". You might want to consider a cotton pad or extra blanket to go between the sheet and the plastic mattress cover.

Be sure ALL clothes and belongings taken to camp are clearly marked with your child’s name. Since sometimes items taken to camp become lost, you may want to discourage taking some favorite or expensive items. Chances are pretty good that your child and his/her clothing will get dirty at camp.

Personal CD / cassette players or radios with headphones may be brought with campers. Please do not send other types of CD players, boom boxes, hand held video games, etc. to camp.
