Saxony Lutheran High has approved a tentative budget of slightly over $300,000.00 for its start up on August 21, 2,000. We are in need of raising funds for the start up in August. Those funds can easily be generated if among our Missouri Synod Lutheran families in Southeast Missouri, if 160 families would be willing to write out a check for $1,000 and 320 families would be willing to write out a check for $500.00. This would generate $320,000.00 for the operation of Saxony. Of course, lesser amounts are also appreciated. Just make the check out to Saxony Lutheran High School and mail it to Saxony Lutheran High School, Attn: Jerry Deardorff, 804 W. Cape Rock Dr., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. All of our members know others who might be willing to help out in this manner.
All those who are AAL policyholders can get matching dollars up to the 1st $100 that they contribute to Saxony Lutheran by filling out a proper form that can be received from their AAL representative. This will increase the dollars for Saxony Lutheran.
Lutheran Brotherhood policyholders can apply for matching funds after the school opens on August 21st.
We pray that those people who are supporting Saxony Lutheran High School would be willing to talk to others about the need to support Saxony Lutheran High School. We also pray that God will touch the hearts of many LCMS members in Southeast Missouri to respond to our need for financial support as we opened our first year on August 21, 2000.
