Curriculum
Our curriculum for ages 3 years and up is "Voyages" series produces by Concordia Publishing House. This is the first of the same series currently being used by Trinity Lutheran School, Pre-K through 8th grade. Each week will focus on a different verse from the Bible. Children learn through discovery and play in a variety of interesting activities that reinforce the week's Bible story and theme. In the Voyages curriculum, our goal is to always "fix our eyes on Jesus" (Hebrews 12:2).
Another aspect of our curriculum is Theme Weeks. Books are a significant part of our curriculum. Each week will have themes that center around a book or another specific theme.
TLELC's curriculum runs for 40 weeks, beginning in August and concluding in May. During the summer, the day is more fun-filled and less structured.
